THE RIGEL PROTOCOL GIFTING SYSTEM, GiftDapp

A conventional Web app, such as Uber or Twitter, runs on an organization's own computer system and gives it complete control over the program and its operations. Multiple users may be on one side, but one organization controls the backend.

The decentralized app (DApp) is a computer application running on a decentralized system. Distributed ledger systems like Ethereum blockchain (DLT) have popularized DApps, where DApps are often called intelligent contracts.

DApps can work on a P2P network or a network blockchain. BitTorrent, Tor and Popcorn Time are software running on computers in the P2P network, in which several people consume content, feed or seed content or do both duties simultaneously.

In contrast to standard uses where the backend code is executed on central servers, DApps have their backend code on a decentralized peer-to-peer network. A DApp can contain frontend code and user interfaces written to its backend in any language. DApps are often open-source, decentralized, encouraged by tokens for those who validate the DApp and in accordance with a particular protocol agreed on in the community. It works in a decentralized environment over a blockchain network in cryptocurrency and is free of any single authority control or intervention.

GENERAL APPLICATION OF DAPPS

DApps can be applied to a number of internet businesses, from finance to gambling and even online gambling.

On several crypto-currency data analysis platforms a list of DApps can be discovered.

DApp Browsers

All DApps have a unique code that can work exclusively on a particular platform. Not all DApps work with regular Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers. Some only work with a customized code on particular websites which are adapted to open certain DApps.

DeFi DApps

DApps have been used in decentralized finance (DeFi), which is based on dapps which conduct financial activities on blockchains, a technology designed for Bitcoin that has now become more general.

With DeFi DApps, Users can;

Borrow or lend other people's funds.

Go for a variety of assets long or short.

Trade coins without a centralized intermediary or gain interest in a savings account.

Gambling DApps

Online Gambling is another market with a lot of popular Dapps and a growing potential. Gambling Dapps offer its many advantages, such as faster and slight transactions, low-cost casino activities leading to a reduced user house edge, increased anonymity and proven fairness.

Despite the wide adoption of DApps, many DApp's struggle to attract the user and even those who attract broad initial popularity retain it, especially in its foundation period.

Rigel Protocol Gift DApp

The gifting mechanism of Rigel Protocol allows users to receive awards and send gifts to other users. This Dapp can be used by other DeFi projects to recompense their communities. The influencers of social media can significantly boost their followers' base by providing their subscribers gifts. ‌

Users will have the opportunity to win different $RGP tokens and other compatibility tokens as gifts to other users and purchase "Spins."

Defi projects can be used to reward and promote their platforms in their own user base and other crypto communities through the use of the Gifting Dapp.
